Book Review: The Perfect Alibi

Jeez, book two of the series, and I’m already pulling the ripcord! Another misogynist/rapist, an evil drug company, a lengthy description of what DNA is: this book was a struggle to finish. I prefer my action to happen in the present tense as I read, and not be revealed by characters sitting a in courtroom, as they are questioned by lawyers. The characters are wooden, and their actions are predictable. The best thing about this book are the voices as performed by Therese Plummer, and that’s no reason to buy the Perfect Alibi.
